The BILCO Company has introduced a flood-tight floor access door that can withstand a 30-foot head of water from the topside. The Type FT-30 door features corrosion-resistant aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware. Covers are reinforced for AASHTO H-20 wheel loading to withstand vehicular loads, and the door can also resist low-pressure gases and odors. The latching system securely seals the cover and allows it to be opened quickly and easily.
Doors have engineered lift assistance for safe, easy one-hand operation. Choose from a range of standard and special sizes to satisfy any requirement. An optional Thermion Safetrax non-skid cover finish can also be included on the doors.
